At Rhodes Central, Rockface Landscapes was engaged to supply and install the planter boxes, green wall, all of the mulch and irrigation and the pergola shade structures which appear throughout the site. They also installed the timber seating, bubblers and pet shelters in the dog park, all of the synthetic grass, BBQ areas, bins and bicycle racks.
Palm trees up to 8m tall were imported from Queensland, requiring cranes to have them installed and the Waterhousea Floribunda, a popular Australian native, is the main attraction on Level 3. A central focal point would have to be the lush, 6m high green wall which wraps itself around one of the building’s columns on Walker Street. Fully irrigated and fully fertilised, this impressive feature is getting the attention of passers-by.Gallery Credits: Rock Face Landscapes, Billbergia Group. Rhodes Central, Makmax Australia
